Clarks Originals, the fashionable sub-brand of a company most people will remember as the provider of their school shoes as a kid, have announced plans to re-issue a 1960's design, the Mali Desert Boot.
Released in 1967, the Mali could be called a hybrid of the monkey and desert boots, effortlessly combining the immaculate suede upper with the numerous eyelets of the monkey boot.
The high design is quite cool and I'm sure these will take off, but probably not to the applause its more elegant older brother has. Pricing and shipping details to be announced soon.
